Bibliographic Services

Bibliographic services are services that provide information about published works, including books, articles, and other materials. These services are essential for researchers, students, and other users who need access to information about published works. The professional librarian will assist you in identifying the bibliographic information of the required information resources. 

Borrowing & Returning

It makes borrowing, renewing, returning, and reserving library materials easy. These services enable you to borrow books, media, and other library materials for some time and then return them for others to borrow. This service is available at the circulation desk.

Database Searching Assistance

Provides hands-on training, instruction, and assistance to patrons who want to learn more about library databases and the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) accessible at http://webopac.aup.edu.ph/. The reference librarian is the person in charge of this service.

Document Delivery

Facilitates your requested copy of the particular portion of library materials. Document delivery services are crucial in providing library patrons who cannot physically visit the library access to information and resources. Document Delivery Form (DDF) at https://jldmlibrary.aup.edu.ph/ddf/.

Interlibrary Loan

We are processing your request for library materials from another consortium and network. ILL is an important service that allows patrons to access a broader range of materials than what is available in the JLDM library. The reference librarian is the person in charge of this service.

Library Orientation

Provides the patron with a wide range of information about the library and its services. Library orientation services are designed to introduce library users to a library's resources, services, policies, and procedures. These services can benefit new or returning library users unfamiliar with the library's resources and services. The reference librarian is the person in charge of this service.

Plagiarism Checker

Helps patrons do their best, original work, and identify 'complete plagiarism' in their research papers. It compares a submitted document with a vast database of previously submitted academic papers, online content, and journals to identify any instances of plagiarism or academic dishonesty. It is available at the ITS.

Printing Services

It makes it easy for patrons to print materials they need for school without going to a separate print shop. This can save time for library users. It is available at the ITS.
