Description
“Accountability Over Anonymity” is a reflective piece that examines the growing tendency to express complaints, criticisms, and hurtful comments through online platforms while concealing one’s identity. It challenges the practice of hiding behind anonymity to avoid responsibility for words and actions that may hurt others. The image of eyes lowered toward a phone is presented not as a gesture of respect, but as a reflection of being absorbed in digital communication without accountability. The piece emphasizes that the deeper issue is not simply having one’s voice unheard, but the character and maturity demonstrated in how one chooses to communicate. Drawing on the wisdom of the saying, “Still waters run deep,” it calls readers to develop thoughtful, responsible, and morally grounded communication.
