Abstract
Description
“Where Do I Begin?” reflects on the questions that arise when students encounter unfamiliar test questions, disappointing results, uncertainty about their future, and doubts about where they are headed in life. Students may wonder, “Why did this happen?”, “Where will I find myself years from now?”, and “What will I do?” The article says that the answers to these questions begin by looking back, examining past experiences, recognizing what went wrong, and finding ways to make things right. However, the article ultimately points to Genesis 1:26, where God says, “Let us make man in our image,” as the true place where we should begin. Since God is the Creator who formed humanity and sustains life, submitting ourselves to Him provides the foundation for discovering purpose and direction. The article says that, like answering an unexpected question on an examination, moving forward requires letting go of distractions, concealed sins, and doubts. Rather than returning to the past, readers are encouraged to move forward with faith, trusting the One who created them from the very beginning.
