The study analyzed the erosive potential of beverages sold in Adventist University of the Philippines. Specifically, the study answered the following questions: 1. What is the PH different brand of beverages sold in AUP? 2. What is the amount of enamel loss in term of percent weight loss for each of the beverages sold in AUP: 2.1. After 6 hours soaking 2.2. After 24 hours soakig and 2.3. after 48 hours soaking ? 3. Which among the beverages have a erosive potential in dental enamel: 3.1. after 6 hours soaking ;3.2. after 24 hours soaking 3.3. after 48 hours soaking 4. Is their relationships between the erosive potential of each beverages and each PH? 5. Is there relationships between the erosive potential of each beverages and its duration of exposure Methodology: The study is experimental and quantitative in nature. Nine locally available beverages were selected randomly. Their were silver spring mineral water, soya milk, Buko juice, Carrot juice and C2 grean tea of natural group; and Gatorade, Tropicana, Fit & right and plus of the synthetic group which were stored according to the manufacturer's instructions. Top water as used the control. The PH was then measured immediately after opening the beverages. fifteen non conscious extracted premolar and molar teeth were chosen for the study. The specimens were dried in the dry heat sterilization machine and were later painted with nail varnish exposing only the enamel. Weighing of the specimens to 0.00000 gram followed. There specimens were submerged in each beverages in 125 ml half - filled cups for 6,24 and 48 hours. after every soaking time the specimens were air dried thoroughly and weighed. finally the data were treated statistically to determined the erosive beverages and to find if pH and duration exposure is relates to enamel weigh loss.
