Bibliographic Services
Bibliographic services provide information about published works, including books, articles, and other materials. These services are essential for researchers, students, and anyone seeking information about published resources. A professional librarian will assist you in identifying the bibliographic details of the information resources you need.
Borrowing & Returning
This service makes borrowing, renewing, returning, and reserving library materials simple and convenient. You can borrow books, media, and other resources for a set period and return them for others to use. Available at the circulation desk.
Database Searching Assistance
We provide hands-on training, instruction, and assistance to patrons who wish to learn more about library databases and the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), accessible at http://webopac.aup.edu.ph/. The reference librarian is in charge of this service.
Document Delivery
We can provide a copy of a specific portion of library materials upon request. Document delivery services are especially valuable for patrons who cannot physically visit the library. Access the Document Delivery Form (DDF) at https://jldmlibrary.aup.edu.ph/ddf/.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
We process requests for library materials from other consortium libraries and networks. ILL is an important service that allows patrons to access a wider range of materials beyond what is available in the JLDM Library. The reference librarian manages this service.
Library Orientation
We provide a comprehensive introduction to the library and its services. Library orientation sessions familiarize users with our resources, services, policies, and procedures—ideal for new or returning patrons. The reference librarian conducts these sessions.
Plagiarism Checker
This service helps patrons produce original work by detecting any instances of plagiarism in their research papers. The system compares submitted documents against a vast database of academic papers, online content, and journals. Available at the ITS.
Printing Services
We make it convenient for patrons to print school-related materials without visiting an external print shop—saving both time and effort. Available at the ITS.
