A total of 60 respondent were examined intraorally. Information about respondents' profile (name, age, adress)and smoking habits (cigarette sticks consumed per day and years of smoking) was also collected in the study. Data was analyzed using frequency and distribution. The most frequent status of the periodontal status was CPI score 2 and CPI score 3. Cigars sticks consume per day were correlated with periodontal status and years of smoking were also correlated with periodontal status. Result showed that both correlations are significant. Cigagrette stick consumed per day vs periodontal status has probability value of 0.023, it shows moderate direct relationship, while year smoking vs periodontal status has probability value of 0.000which is stronly suggests a directs relationship. | |
