Summary Note520 _aProblem The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of teacher transfer on morale and job performance of the teacher. Methodology The descriptive-inferential method of research described the effect of teacher transfer on teacher morale and job performance. A total of 157 respondents participated in this study. They are teachers and school board members of CLC-operated schools. Teacher respondents should have experienced transfer from one school to another or from one grade level to another. data analyses utilized mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and ANOVA. Findings. Results from the study indicated that there was no significant difference in the perceptions of teachers, principals/administrators and school board members regarding teacher transfer. Teachers, principal/administrators and school board members perceived that frequent transfer from multi-grade to single-grade class heighten morale that results to better performance. The study also revealed that family-related factor dominates all factors of teacher transfer. Conclusion. Based on thee result of the study, the researcher conclude that teacher transfer raises teachers' morale and enhance job performance. Recommendation. It is recommended that principals/Administrators and school board members should listen and be sensitive to teachers sentiments and needs before deciding to transfer teacher and to consider teacher transfer not only for the inefficient teachers but for the effective ones also.
