Thus this study was conducted to understand how this group of people adapted to mainstream society. It answered four research questions: What are the factors that led to the migration of Aetas in Rosario, Batangas? What are the change in the traditional values and behaviour of this Aetas as they live side by side with the Tagalogs? What traditional lifestyle and values have the Aetas retained after living outside the Sierra Madre Mountains? How have they been able to cope with cultural differences with the dominant group? It will seek to find out the dynamics of cultural integration and assimilation, the key processes in cultural adoption.
