Summary Note | 520 | _a | The focus of this study is the determination of the viability and feasibility of establishing barks 'n Purrs pet cafe in Solenad, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines. Below are the findings and results of the study. Marketing. The proposed business is a pet friendly cafe that pet lovers are sure to love. According to the distributed questionnaires and computation, the total demand in the market is 75% and has an average total demand in peso of P171 million and organizational demand of P152.9 million whereas the total supply in peso has P134 million having an average unmet demand of P36.6 million. Marketing plan was made to make sure that the target market is aware of the proposed business existence, and to potentially increase the business' customer base. Technical. The proposed business will need a total cost of P406,048 for the purchase of the equipment, furniture and the fixtures, and the pets. The capacity in quantity for the first year is 69,269 and has capacity in peso of P11.3 million. The proposed pet cafe is located in Sto. Domingo, Sta Rosa Laguna inside Ayala Malls, Solenad, Building 3 and will operate from 12 pm to 9 pm very day. Organization and Human Resource. The proposed pet cafe is a sole proprietorship kind of business. It has a manager, an accountant, and thirteen employees. Each regular employee has different requirements for specific job and position. The proposed business will take five months of preparation before starting operation. Strategic Management. The mission of the proposed business is to provide high quality and affordable drinks, clean environment, and overall pleasing atmosphere for the customers and envisions becoming the leading pet cafe in the Philippines by 2023 and using the S.M.A.R.T philosophyas an objective. Evaluation will be done monthly to pinpoint problems and see the status of the market. Other strategic plans are made for unexpected events might happen that can affect the operation of the business. Financial. The researchers based the proposed business sale revenue on the lower amount of the organization's demand and maximum capacity. The total capital that will be needed in the proposed business is P3,365,303 which will be financed by the investor. The Barks 'n purrs pet cafe is profitable because it will have an average net income of ₱4,403,587 in five years. The proposed business shows as ROI of 96%, average rate of return of 2.62, a payback period of 11 months and 5 days, a NPV of ₱13 million, a IRR of 111%, and a benefit-cost ratio of 4.89 making the proposed business worth investing for. Socio-Economic Responsibility. The proposed business will be socially and economically responsible to different sectors of society surrounding it such as customers, employees, suppliers, owner, community, and government because benefits will be provided to them. Conclusion. The researchers therefore conclude that the proposed business is feasible and viable. | |
