Summary Note520 _aThe focus of this study is the determination of the viability and feasibility of establishing a proposed business named: "Carrot Jam Manufacturing" in Inchican, Silang, Cavite, with total consideration of marketing, technical, organization and management and financial aspects of the business. Below are the findings and results of the study. Marketing. The target market in this study is the re-sellers of food in Silang, Cavite. Thus the demand for product of the proposed venture will be increasing as the study shows within the five years period. The average total demand in quantity of the proposed business in five years of operation is 304, 443 pieces. The average total supply was determined to be 324,996 pieces. Promotion and marketing strategies will be executed to create awareness of the product in the target market. Technical. The proposed business will be located in Inchican, Silang, Cavite which is quite strategic for the business activities. The researchers decided to rent a building for P5,000 monthly resulting to P60,000 annually which is divided into two parts: the P48,000 will be allocated to production while P12,000 is allocated to operation. The production activities will be done from Sunday to Thursday. The maximum capacity of the business is based from the capacity of the machine and also the total grams used in production per year. The total grams used in production in a year is 4,830,967.74 grams. It will be divided according to the percentage of population who buys a certain sized based from the question number 11 in the questionnaire. For small size, the maximum capacity management used contingency plan for the unexpected situation, alternative plan in case plan A didn't work, acquisition and liquidation are used for the business exit strategy. Financial Study. The initial capital investment needed for the proposed business is Php 1,251,963.00 as starting capital to operate, which is to be financed by Mr. Edgar B. Delicana. The net income for the first year of operation is Php242,161.32, with the payback period of 3.12 years. The proposed business has a chance to expand and offers great market possibility. Socio- Economic Responsibility. The researchers discuss in this chapter the significance of the business to the different sectors of society. In this study the researchers is aiming not only to earn profit but to contribute to do favor to the environment and its people surrounding the proposed business. This could provide work for unemployed people, adding additional income for families. This will also help increase government revenues through taxes. Conclusion. The evaluation has been done; the researchers therefore conclude that the establishment of the proposed venture is feasible and viable. Recommendation. The researchers recommend to the willing investor that the proposed project "Carrot Jam Manufacturing" be implemented as soon as possible from the time of accomplishment of the study to minimize the changes of data that might occur in the future.
