The main problem in this study is to determine the relationship between attitudes and values of elementary school teachers and their teaching effectiveness. It also deals with the effects of teacher type and demographic factors on attitudes and values as well as on teaching effectiveness. A correlational design was used. To find the validity and reliability of the Teaching Effectiveness, Attitudes, and Values Instruments, the factor loading and community of each item and the total variance accounted for were examined. The mean and standard deviation were used to determine the extent of the effectiveness of teachers in terms of classroom management, teaching techniques, classroom climate, and personal attributes. The same was employed with the extent of the reflection of teachers' values in the teacher-pupil relationship, in a sense of maturity and ethical standards. A multiple regression analysis stepwise procedure was used to determine the relationship between teacher type, attitudes and values, and demographic factors to teaching effectiveness. Likewise, this was done to determine the relationship between teacher type and demographic factors in attitudes and values. In light of the findings of this study, the researcher was able to establish the following conclusions: 1. The effective factors involved in the teaching effectiveness of teachers are his/her personal attributes, use of teaching techniques, the way he/she manages the classroom, and how he maintains classroom climate. 2. There is a reciprocal relationship between teachers' values and attributes to teaching effectiveness. The more favorable he/she is in his/her teaching. 3. Female teachers possess more favorable attitudes toward the teaching profession; thus, they are more effective in their teaching than male teachers.
