The conduct of research by college students in allied health courses has been considered challenging due to the rigor and the complexity involved. This study aims to determine the satisfaction levels of thesis advising practices and research motivation of students in allied health courses. The study utilized a descriptive-evaluative and descriptive-correlational research design. Purposive sampling was used in recruiting 120 respondents from different allied health colleges in a private university. Results of the study reveal that the allied health students were satisfied with the thesis advising practices and had a high research motivation. A strong positive correlation (p=0.00; r=0.71) was found between the level of satisfaction with thesis advising practices and the research motivation of the allied health students. This means 6 that the more they are satisfied with the thesis advising practices, the higher the research motivation of the allied health students. It is recommended that thesis advisors continuously enhance their thesis advising practices so that the research motivation of their advisees will be enhanced.
