Medicinal plants are a dependable supply of traditional healthcare systems for the community. However, incorrect usage of medicinal plants may result in health problems. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between knowledge, personal practices, and support systems in health education practices on the use of the 10-DOH-endorsed medicinal plants among community health workers. The study employed 291 community health workers selected through purposive sampling. The researcher utilized the multi-stage sampling technique, and data was collected from three major islands in the Philippines serving the urban and rural barangays. The results revealed that respondents had a high extent of knowledge and a good extent of knowledge of the support system, personal practices, and health education practices on the use of the 10-DOH-endorsed medicinal plants. Pearson product correlation of personal practices (r = .476, p< .001) and support system (r = .596, p< .001). Personal practices and support systems significantly predict health education practices. Community health workers should have proper training focusing on the improvement of their personal practices. Also, the support system should be strengthened to improve health education practices. The results provided baseline information in the development of community health workers' advocacy on medicinal plants (CAMP). It has four modules namely Herbal-Linang, Herbal Sining, Community Plan Tree, and Farmacy. The study suggests the proposed training manual be examined for its efficacy in promoting the safe and effective use of the 10-DOH-endorsed medicinal plants.
