With the Hallyu Wave's rising popularity, numerous Korean trends have been taking hold globally, specifically in Korean dramas. This type of media has been talked about in the Philippines. Filipino young adults became interested and continued to expose themselves to K-drama. This phenomenological study aimed to explore Filipino young adults' psyches and integrate them with Seventh-day Adventist beliefs. Thus, this paper focuses on the motives of Filipino young adults in their exposure to K-drama, their thoughts and feelings while watching, their views of life and of themselves, and how their exposure affects their functioning. Purposive sampling and snowball sampling were utilized in selecting participants. The five (5) chosen participants were selected from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Semi-structured, one-on-one online interviews were used to gather data. Filipino young adults were motivated to expose themselves to K-drama because of its enticing plot and inspiring lessons they could get, and it served to satisfy their self-gratification. They have imagination, preoccupation with real and real, learnings, and negative emotions as they watch K-drama. The participants have learned to be optimistic and were able to formulate distorted standards for their physical appearance, standards for choosing romantic partners, and standards for personal growth. The participants were able to appreciate the role of the family in their lives; they learned to be more empathic; and they were able to adapt to unrealistic lifestyles and the formation of unhealthy habits.
