Political leader as observed manifest varied leadership style or directed toward the attainment of political goals. The study identified the determinant on political cognition among public officials. There were 115 respondent included in this study. The respondent answered adapted questionnaires validated by experts.The study concludes that politician in Region X are more conservative rather than liberal. With ninety four point eight percent being conservative, and five point to percent liberal.. Relationship with political cognition. This finding, indicate that politicians ' political cognition, or in this context - conservatism , is not affected by person 's personality trait. and lastly, political attitude toward achievement is also determinant of political cognition. And lastly , political attitude toward achievement is also determinant of political cognition.This implies that a politicians' conservatism is affected by which parenting style they use subjectively, and other political motivation toward achievement.
