The focus of this study is determination of the viability and feasibility of establishing a DEER emission testing center in San Ramon, Dinalupihan, Bataan. Below are the findings and results of the study. Marketing. Based on the survey questionnaires distributed by researchers to target market, the initial demand in peso is P3,016,513 with an equivalent 10, 964 quantity demand and the total capacity of supply is P1, 896,00 in peso and 7,200 in quantity. Computing this data, the unmet demand is P1, 120, 513. The DEER emission testing center will be the first emission testing center in San Ramon, Dinalupihan, Bataan. Technical. The service process of the proposed business is described in detail from the entrance up to the exit of the customers from the building. The approximate time for the service process is 25 minutes for diesel and 20 minutes gas. The business will be operating eight hours in five consecutive working days which has an annual capacity of 16,080 and P4,200,000. The researchers will renovate the rented building and space which will cost 400,000 for renovation and 10,000 for monthly rent. Organization and Human Resource. Sole proprietorship is the ideal form of business organization for the proposed business and will cost P55,085 for its formal organization. There will be eight employees including the manager who will manage the business for the owner. Seven months will be allotted to start the operation of the business. Strategic Management. Strategies, programs, and activities will be used to achieved the objectives identified. The strategically evaluate the progress and the quality of service provided by proposed business, service level questionnaires and assessment report will be used. In case the business does not as originally projected, there are planned contingencies, alternatives and exit plans ready to mitigate the possible damages. Financial. The initial capital of P1,519,504 will be used as capital requirement to be invested by the owner. The financial analysis has projected table and good earnings performance for the first five years of operations which profitability resulted to averages of 27.65% return on sales and 18.07% return on investment. The net present value of the proposed project is P1,578 ,187 and its payback period will take two years and two months. Socio-Economic Responsibility. Policies and activities were formed by the researchers to make sure that the proposed business can contribute to the society. The customers will be provided an efficient services; Employees will also receive training and experience aside from their salaries and benefits; charitable contribution will be donated to the cancer patients charity and a fund will be given to the church to be used for the further spreading of the gospel in evangelizing.
