The focus of this study is determination of the viability and feasibility of establishing a self-service laundry with water conservation system in Caingin, Sta. Rosa Laguna. The following are the findings and results of the study. Marketing. The business is providing 3-package service which are wash, dry and wash and dry service. The target market are the households. Its total demand is equal to organizational demand which is P5,267,544 because it is the first laundry shop that will be established. Technical. The excess water from the water station which the proposed investor owns will flow through a pipeline to the water tank of the Laundry Shop that will constitute water conservation system. The approximate for the service process is 47-89 minutes which depends on the package availed. It shall be located in Caingin, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Construction of building and purchase of various machinery, equipment, furniture and fixtures will cost P352,819.60 and P1,361,997.00. It will operate for twelve hours a day to maximize the business capacity. Organization and Human Resource. The proposed business will be established as a sole proprietorship. The owner will also be the manager. Five employees will be hired including the accountant who will only work once a year. The formal organization of the proposed project will take eight months. Strategic Management. The proposed business' strategic framework consists of its mission which aims to provide quality laundry services to its customers; vision which aims to be the leading laundromat in Sta. Rosa, Laguna by 2023; and objectives that will serve as a framework in carrying out the business. Financial. This will be financed solely by Mr. Danilo OriƱa who also owns the existing water station by investing an amount of P1,862,9993.16. The business will have a net profit of P351,057.75 for the first year of operation. The proposed business for the five-year period will enjoy an average of 32.05% return on sales, average of 23.06% return on investment, and average of 57.24% gross profit ratio. About 4.49 years is the payback period of the proposed business venture. Socio-Economic Responsibility. The proposed business follows the policies and procedures o be socially responsible that leads to the growth and well-being of the community. It will give benefits to the customers, employees, suppliers, owners, community and society, church and government. Conclusion. Based on the results of the study, the researchers therefore conclude that establishing a self-service laundry with water conservation system in Caingin, Sta. Rosa, Laguna is feasible and viable. Recommendation. The researchers recommend to the prospective investor that the proposed business be implemented as soon as possible.
